SPEAKING OF EDUCATION . . .
Do you know how many exciting things you can access through our new
computers? Through the Learning Express Library, available on our computers thanks to a
federal grant, students from elementary through college levels can study and improve
their reading, writing, and math skills at their own pace. Home-school parents--this can
be a huge help to you. High school students--study for the SATs at no cost! GED study and
testing also available. Adults!-- There are great resources for you too: job-search,
resume-writing, and interviewing skills courses; career licensing and certification test
preparation; and much more. Ask the Librarian, and look for some special programs in 2012
to help you use these resources.
